- If there is no agreement between the stakeholders regarding the payment of child support expenses, payment will be demanded by taking legal measures. Child Support Agency may request the information debtors to a relevant organization to check and investigate the ability to pay the child support expenses of non-nurturing parents or the debtor of the payment. It performs investigations on non-nurturing parents or the debtor’s addresses, workplaces, income, and properties, which are required for lawsuits and collection of debts, according to relevant acts.

- To enhance the effectiveness of paying child support expenses, field assistance teams visit the debtor of child support expenses, and someone who is relevant, in person, to figure out the debtor’s status and overall situation, and take measures so that the debtor pays the child support expenses. They act in cases of “large amounts of child support, long-lasting defaults, no execution of detention, and huge social ripple effects”, and it proceeds with improving awareness and building consensus on fulfilling the obligation to pay child support expenses.

Large amounts, long-lasting defaulters Visit the non-nurturing parent who did not pay large amounts of child support expenses, in person, figure out the debtor’s status and situation, and request the payment of child support expenses. Not executing detention If there is no execution for detention even after “the court made a decision for detention on the debtor”, take action so that the detention is enforced through collaboration with the police. Social impact Take action to visit the debtor owing child support expenses who caused significant social impact even there is no long-lasting default, default of large amounts, or no execution of detentions.
